Greenstone Developments is proposing a new rental housing project in the Glenmore neighbourhood of Kelowna. The project, named Glenmore Ridge, would be a six-storey residential building at 305 Drysdale Blvd., on the southeast corner of Drysdale Boulevard and Glen Park Drive. The project is designed by Siegrist Architecture.

The proposal includes rezoning the property to a village centre zone (VC1r), exclusively for rental homes. The building will feature 66 units, comprising 10 studios, 28 one-bedrooms, one one-bedroom-plus-den, 26 two-bedrooms, and one three-bedroom apartment.

City planners will review the rezoning and development permit applications, which also seek variances for the rear yard landscape area and oversized projections before they are considered by city council.

Kelowna’s city council has recently made strong efforts to push through multiple rezoning applications to meet provincial housing targets.
