The development includes ground-floor retail, enhanced amenities, and improved streetscape integration, aiming to revitalize the Downsview area.

35-Storey Condo Tower Planned Near Guildwood GO Station

Blacktusk Group proposes a 35-storey, 442-unit condo tower at 402–408 Livingston Rd, near Guildwood GO Station. The plan includes a four-storey podium with parking and amenities, green roofs, and rooftop patios. The site, currently zoned for single-family homes, requires rezoning to accommodate the development.

Choice Properties REIT Acquires $340M in Commercial Assets

Choice Properties REIT has acquired $340 million in investment properties in 2025, including a $182.3 million purchase of a Loblaw distribution center in Ajax and eight industrial outdoor storage sites for $158.0 million. Additionally, a Brampton retail property was acquired for $33.7 million. The REIT invested $44.1 million in development.

Toronto Greenlights 10,000+ New Homes in Development Push

Toronto Council approved 18 development applications and one conceptual plan in April, paving the way for 10,261 new residential units. Projects range from downtown high-rises to affordable housing across Scarborough, Etobicoke, and North York. Major developments include Union Park’s twin towers, 111 Peter Street, and the Swansea Mews revitalization.
