West Kelowna is gearing up for its largest apartment building yet. Live Hoskins Inc. is moving forward with a development permit application for a seven-storey, mixed-use development following a recent consolidation of three properties located at 3715 Hoskins Road, 3717 Hoskins Road, and 2424 Dobbin Road.

The project will feature two ground-level commercial spaces and 65 rental units consisting of 20 studios, 35 one-bedrooms, and 10 two-bedrooms. Each unit will have a private balcony, plus there will be a shared rooftop patio. Parking is set to include a partially underground two-level parkade with EV charging stations and two car-share spaces. The developer is expected to pay $170,000 to the city in lieu of falling short of the parking stall requirement. The development aims to attract low to middle-income residents.

The application will be considered by city council at their next meeting on June 11.
