Jennie Gaglardi Place in Langley opens its doors, offering 98 new affordable rental homes to families, seniors, and individuals. The development, located at 21201 56 Ave., features a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, catering to low and moderate-income households. Managed by the Christian Life Assembly (CLA) Housing Society, rents range from $500 to $2,450 per month. With a focus on community and affordability, amenities include a ground-floor room, kitchen, laundry, and outdoor spaces.

This initiative aligns with the BC government’s $19-billion housing investment, aiming to provide stable housing options amid a housing crisis. Scheduled to welcome its first tenants in April 2024, the project honors Jennie Gaglardi’s legacy and commitment to the Langley community, commemorating her founding of the Christian Life Assembly Church over 85 years ago.
