The redevelopment of 155 Antibes Drive will transform a 1970s tower-in-the-park site in North York into a vibrant, mixed-use community. Developer Tenblock aims to address Toronto’s housing needs while preserving the area’s character.

The 4.7-acre site, currently featuring a 16-storey apartment surrounded by parking and lawns, will see the addition of three new residential buildings: two towers (32 and 36 storeys) and an 8-storey mid-rise, adding 892 new units to the existing 259 rental units. The design, by BDP Quadrangle and Urban Strategies Inc., includes a public park, multi-use trail, and improved landscaping. The existing building will receive upgrades to amenities, security, and accessibility.

New retail spaces and a POPS (Privately Owned Publicly Accessible Space) will create an urban plaza and cycling hub, connecting to the city’s planned cycle tracks. For those relying on public transit, the site is served by buses that reach Finch Station on Yonge Line 1 within 15 minutes and buses operating along Bathurst Street.

Sustainability is a priority, with plans for a geo-exchange heating system and an advanced building envelope. This project balances increased density with community integration, addressing Toronto’s housing demand while creating a sustainable, lively urban community. This development joins other community and residential developments in the growing North York area.
