The 2024 Georgie Awards Gala, hosted by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC), celebrated the best in BC real estate and development on May 25. The event, held at Vancouver’s Hyatt Regency Hotel, featured a whimsical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory theme, complete with purple decor and golden tickets.

This 32nd edition of the awards honored 52 winners, showcasing the industry’s top projects. CHBA BC CEO Neil Moody praised the innovation and creativity of the homes that reached finalist and winner status, highlighting the exceptional work from conception to completion.

To be eligible for a Georgie Award, nominees must be CHBA BC members, and their projects—whether built, renovated, developed, created, or marketed—must have been completed between January 1, 2022, and October 31, 2023. Finalists and winners were chosen by an out-of-province panel of industry professionals, with results confirmed by an independent accounting firm.
