Forest Gate Group has proposed a 45-storey mixed-use development on 4875 Dundas Street West in Etobicoke’s Islington Village. The site currently hosts a 10-storey rental apartment building which will be demolished.  The tower, designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects, includes 488 units, 432 of which are condominiums and 56 designated as rental replacements. Residents will enjoy over 21,000 square feet (sqft) of combined indoor and outdoor amenities. The project offers almost 5,000 sqft of ground-level retail and 221 parking spaces across three underground levels. Cyclists will benefit from 332 long-term and 35 short-term bicycle parking spots.

The proposed development aligns with Toronto’s densification goals near major transit hubs. Nearby transit options include TTC bus routes and Islington station, while cycling infrastructure is set to expand. Other nearby developments range from 25 to 49 storeys, indicating a trend of increasing vertical density in the area.
