Two significant developments are proposed within close proximity in Downtown Brampton. Amdev Property Group is proposing a 48-storey mixed-use tower at 23-29 Mill Street North. The tower boasts a sleek design by Graziani + Corazza Architects, featuring 549 units, extensive parking, a four-storey podium, and an array of amenities.

The second project, a partnership between Algoma University and Greenwin, aims to enhance student life with communal living spaces and a focus on inclusivity. The new 11-storey residence designed by Sweeny&Co Architects is projected to complete in the 2028-29 academic year and will offer between 500 and 600 beds in a mix of single and double bedrooms. Each suite is designed with two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living space.

Both developments are strategically located steps from the Brampton Innovation District GO station and transit terminal. The proposed tower aligns with the city’s vision for downtown renewal, promising enhanced accessibility and vibrance. Algoma’s student residence not only addresses the pressing need for student housing but also embodies the university’s commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
