Castlepoint Numa is planning to transform Toronto’s Port Lands neighbourhood with two new skyscrapers. The development will feature 40 and 45-storey towers, adding 1,300 residential units to the area. These towers will rise from a seven-storey podium that will include retail spaces and Production Interactive and Creative (PIC) uses, supporting the local film industry with flexible studio spaces.

The site is situated at 115 Saulter St. within the McCleary District, a 49-hectare area envisioned to become a dense, transit-oriented community. The project aims to complement the district’s vision of a mixed-use, vibrant community with easy access to public transit, including the upcoming East Harbour Mobility Hub, Waterfront East LRT, and Broadview Avenue Extension.

Cobe Architects from Copenhagen and SvN Architects have been retained to design a sleek, asymmetrical look that stands out architecturally, while meeting city requirements. This proposal is part of a broader trend of mixed-use high-rises reshaping the underdeveloped waterfront neighborhood of the Port Lands. Another similar development was recently proposed and is currently under review by the city.
