Construction is underway in Toronto for Canada’s tallest building, SkyTower. This Hariri Pontarini designed building is a part of Pinnacle Developments’ Pinnacle One Yonge project. The skyscraper will rise 105 storeys, reshaping the city’s skyline. Competing against other developments, Pinnacle’s SkyTower secured approval for its height increase in late 2023, ultimately reaching 105 storeys. Recent revisions to the Site Plan Approval (SPA) in April include detailed changes to its top, increasing its height by 0.6m to 345.5m.

With approvals for SkyTower and another 92-storey tower, Pinnacle One Yonge is set to make significant records in Canada’s building boom. The SkyTower will not only be the country’s tallest building but also the first to exceed 100 floors, housing the highest residences in Canada. At nearly 345 meters, it will rank as the world’s 10th tallest all-residential building. Once finished, the tower will introduce close to 1,000 condominium units, transforming Toronto’s iconic views.
