Metro Vancouver Regional District recently sold the 10,700-acre Ashcroft Ranch to the Nlaka’pamux Nation for $28 million, facilitating the land’s return to Indigenous stewardship. Proceeds funded the $37.15 million purchase of a 4.78-acre industrial site in Delta, earmarked for expanding the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant.
