Owners of 22 strata units in Victoria have filed lawsuits against the B.C. government. These owners argue that new provincial legislation, which restricts short-term rentals to primary residences, has devalued their properties and resulted in lost rental income. They claim their properties were purpose-built for short-term rentals.
