The City of Kelowna is planning to expand Kelowna International Airport operations by applying to remove a 1.2-acre lot from the Agricultural Land Reserve. This land is needed for aeronautical development to support airport growth, with passenger numbers projected to rise from over two million in 2023 to 2.8 million by 2035.
