Kelowna and West Kelowna generated $6.64 million in Speculation and Vacancy Tax revenue in 2023. Most properties were exempt due to being principal residences or rented. $75.2 million has been generated province-wide. 13 additional communities will adopt the tax in 2025, including eight in the Okanagan and Thompson regions.
