Construction will soon begin on the Kamloops-Hastings Neighbourhood Plaza, converting a temporary street plaza into a permanent fixture in East Vancouver’s Hastings-Sunrise area. The project, part of a $8.77 million contract to build four permanent plazas, is expected to be completed by Spring 2026, in time for the FIFA World Cup.
