The BC Government announced its largest investment in student housing, allocating $300 million toward a $560 million project at UBC’s Vancouver campus. The project will add over 1,500 new beds, childcare spaces, and a dining hall. Construction will begin in fall 2026, with completion expected by fall 2029.
