Major Proposal in Richmond Hill Features Nearly 2,000 Units

A major development proposal by Armour Heights Developments at 11014-11076 Yonge Street in Richmond Hill envisions a mix of townhouses, two community centres, and five high-rise towers up to 49 storeys, totaling 1,874 residential units. The 46,415m² site will also feature a linear park and is planned in four phases.

5-Tower Senior Housing Complex Proposed in Richmond Hill

A multi-tower senior housing and long-term care complex is proposed in Richmond Hill. The project includes a 10-storey long-term care facility with 288 beds, a 38-storey affordable rental tower, and three life-lease towers with 978 units. The development will feature outdoor amenities, parking, and accessible public transit.

In August, 70% of homes in the GTA and 80% of condos sold below asking prices, reflecting a cooling in bidding competition. The trend shows sellers are becoming more flexible. Some notable areas for underbidding include Eastlake (Oakville) and North York. Homes in Rouge Woods (Richmond Hill) saw overbidding.

Two Towers Proposed in Richmond Hill’s Beverley Acres Area

A two-tower project is proposed near the Richmond Hill GO Station. It features 12- and 20-storey residential towers connected by a 6-storey podium. The towers will replace low-rise homes on Major Mackenzie Drive and Maple Avenue. The project includes 414 residential units, commercial space, amenities, and underground parking.

72-Townhouse Richmond Hill Project Enters Receivership

King Development’s Richmond Hill townhome project is in receivership after defaulting on a $22.5 million loan. Ontario courts have appointed Rosen Goldberg to manage the assets.
