New Proposal Converts Oakville Farmland to 7-Tower Project

A mixed-use community has been proposed in Oakville's Neyagawa–Glenorchy neighbourhood, transitioning from farmland to urban. The development consists of seven residential towers, ranging from 15 to 28 storeys, at 3056 Neyagawa Boulevard. It will integrate 2,278 residential units and 1,551m² of retail space over 3.75 hectares.

New Proposal Aims to Bring 1,000+ New Units to Oakville

A significant development is proposed for North Oakville, featuring two 30-storey buildings and two blocks of townhouses. Phase 2 of the development would feature two 14-storey buildings. This project will bring more than 1,000 residential units to the area. The proposal includes nearly 5,000m2 of modern amenities.

16-Tower Development Proposed Near Oakville GO Station

A proposed redevelopment near Oakville GO station plans 16 towers ranging from 30 to 48 storeys, featuring residential, commercial, and public spaces. The four-block site spans 11.08 hectares, and designates 1.87 hectares for a public park. The development will feature extensive amenities, underground parking, and new roads.

New Sports Centre Proposed in Oakville

A new sports centre has been proposed in Oakville at 65-89 Loyalist Trail. The plan includes converting industrial buildings into a children’s playground, indoor sports areas (for soccer, badminton, pickleball, and basketball), and a gymnastics club. The site would offer 262 parking spaces and pedestrian paths.

48-Unit Townhouse Development Proposed in Oakville

A large block of townhouses has been proposed for Oakville. The project includes 48 back-to-back four-storey townhomes with rooftop amenities and 194 square meters of commercial space at the corner of Garden Drive and Lakeshore Road West. The proposal will be reviewed by Oakville council on October 15.

GTA’s Population and Housing Gap Reaches 50-Year High

The gap between the GTA’s population growth and housing supply is the largest in 50 years, driven by high fees, lengthy approval timelines, and rapid population growth. Barrie, Oakville, and Mississauga lead in lower fees and faster approvals, while Caledon, Oshawa, and Richmond Hill lag behind.
