Trio of Condo Towers Set to Transform Erin Mills Plaza

A proposed trio of condominium towers, designed by Arcadis for Trinity Point (Starmont Estates), aims to replace a shopping plaza at 2555 Erin Centre Boulevard, Mississauga. The development, which features 1,022 units across buildings up to 34 storeys, includes 69,297m² of gross floor area, 1,080m² of retail, and 992 parking spaces.

Mississauga Invests $44M for 1,450 New Rental Units

Mississauga announced a $44 million investment to develop over 1,400 rental units across eight projects, supporting affordable housing through the City’s Affordable Rental Housing incentive program. This funding enables the construction of 261 affordable and 123 below-market units. The city has only added 2,200 new rental units since 2005.

Approved via a 2023 Minister’s Zoning Order, the development includes 1,092 rental units and retail spaces on a 2.54-acre site. The project features extensive amenities and underground parking.

3 High-Rises Planned for Mississauga’s Cooksville Area

A new high-rise development is planned in Mississauga's Cooksville neighborhood near the under-construction Hurontario LRT and close to Cooksville GO station. The proposal includes three residential towers of up to 31 storeys, with 1,342 units and 7,303m² of amenity space. The project also features 600m² of retail space and a public park.

9 Towers Coming to Erin Mills Town Centre in Mississauga

Erin Mills Town Centre in Mississauga is set for a mixed-use redevelopment, designed by BDP Quadrangle for Pemberton Group. The plan includes nine residential towers (20-44 storeys) on a 4.29-hectare site, offering 3,162 units. The project features a central park, urban plaza, and extensive amenities and transit links.

Mississauga Slashes Development Fees and Property Taxes

Mississauga has enacted measures to make housing more affordable, reducing development charges by 50-100% for specific units and decreasing property taxes by 35% for new purpose-built rental housing. Fees, taxes, and charges have hindered housing, with development charges amounting to 10% of the final cost of a home in Mississauga.
