Markham Suites Development Revised to 42-Storey Tower

Hilton Markham Suites Hotel Limited has revised Phase 1 plans for the Markham Suites Redevelopment, proposing a 42-storey residential tower at the corner of Clegg Road and Courtyard Lane. The development includes 620 units, covers a total area of 38,486m², and offers 952m² of indoor amenities and 10,248m² of outdoor amenities.

5-Tower Project Proposed in Downtown Markham

The Remington Group has proposed five residential towers, ranging from 15 to 41 storeys, in Downtown Markham. The development includes 2,139 units along with 2,848m² of retail and commercial space. Phase 1 will include a 28-storey tower with a 9-storey podium. The site is within walking distance of Unionville GO station.

44-Storey Tower Planned Near Future Markham Subway

Curated Properties has resubmitted plans for a 44-storey rental tower in Thornhill, Markham. The project, up from its initial 33-storey plan in 2022, will include 553 rental units and 390m² indoor and 959m² outdoor amenities. It's near the future Clark subway station on the Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension.

45-Storey Tower Planned for Markham’s Thornhill Area

A 45-storey residential tower is proposed by Arkfield Development at 7079 Yonge Street in Markham's Thornhill area. The project will include 568 residential units and 391m² of retail space. The development is strategically located near future transit expansions, such as the Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension.

Plans Revised for 16-Building Master Plan in Markham

SmartCentres REIT and Choice Properties REIT propose transforming a big-box commercial site at Highway 7 and Woodbine in Markham into a masterplanned community. The revised plan features 16 buildings (4-30 storeys), 3,114 residential units, expanded retail, offices, and a central park.

4 Towers Proposed for Longo’s Site in Markham

Longo’s proposes redeveloping its site at 3085 Highway 7 in Markham with four towers (30–36 storeys), offering 1,711 residential units atop a U-shaped podium. The project includes commercial spaces, a public park, and underground parking, supporting transit-oriented growth near York Region’s Viva bus rapid transit line.
