TransLink Unveils Plans for 400-Unit North Vancouver Project

TransLink plans to redevelop its former North Vancouver Transit Centre into the Moodyville Development, featuring a pair of 16-storey towers and three-storey rowhouse buildings. The 2.2-acre site will offer nearly 400 homes—including 389 rental units—with 10% below-market, along with 14,000 sq. ft. of retail space.

Following a 4-3 vote, the District of North Vancouver council approved a 12-storey hotel and 37-storey mixed-use building, the tallest on North Shore, at 1634 and 1748 Capilano Road. The development includes 478 residential units, with 48 below-market rentals, and aims to improve local traffic flow and infrastructure.

Minto REIT Acquires 50% Stake in Lonsdale Square for $53M

Minto Apartment REIT is acquiring a 50% controlling interest in North Vancouver's Lonsdale Square for $52.96 million, marking its entry into the Metro Vancouver market. The 6-storey, 113-unit rental building located at 126 E 21st Street includes a commercial component fully leased to a brewpub, pharmacy, and nutrition retailer.

11 Towers Planned for North Vancouver’s Capilano Mall

Quadreal Property Group plans to transform Capilano Mall in North Vancouver into a high-rise tower development with up to 11 towers ranging from 12 to 40 storeys. The proposed project includes 3,100 homes (30% market rental housing). The redevelopment focuses on creating a mixed-use district with new retail, restaurant, and community spaces.
